CREATED BY THE CREATOR TO CREATEMiriam Hogans is an Austin-based photographer and founder of HumanKIND Fine Arts & Film Studio. Her work is shaped by a quiet, intentional approach and inspired by her travels, focusing on light, movement, and the moments that exist naturally in between. She photographs with minimal direction, allowing space for what is genuine to unfold. The result is imagery that feels timeless, deeply personal, and true to the experience itself.

Organizational Mission & History
At Humankind Fine Arts & Film Studio, our mission is to inspire and equip individuals to tell authentic stories through visual and performing arts. We believe creativity builds empathy, connection, and purpose, and that every person, regardless of background, can use their voice to impact the world through storytelling.
The idea for Humankind began long before its formal founding in 2024. With over 11 years of experience in music, education, photography, filmmaking, and entrepreneurship, Miriam made the bold decision to combine her creative, academic, and professional expertise into a multi-disciplinary company, Humankind Fine Arts & Film Studio.
The vision behind Humankind was to establish a place where creativity meets purpose and where stories could be told through music, visual arts, and film with honesty and heart. Miriam recognized that many young people and Christian creatives lacked access to spaces that nurtured both technical skill and emotional authenticity. By merging her background in business law, education, music direction, and media production, she created a studio designed to teach individuals how to express their humanity through art and storytelling.
Humankind’s foundation was shaped by Miriam’s transformative mission experiences in Manaus and Coari, Brazil, where she served through Apostolic Youth Corps. During these trips, she photographed and filmed humanitarian outreach programs, worship services, and community events, capturing raw moments, unfiltered, and deeply human. These experiences instilled a lifelong belief that creativity is not only art but a ministry of empathy and truth.
Since its founding, the studio has accomplished a significant number of creative initiatives.
