Why HumanKIND?

At Humankind Fine Arts & Film Studio, we’re all about capturing life as it really is…authentic, emotional, and beautifully human. Whether it’s through a photography session, filmmaking, or a music project, we aim to tell stories that feel real and resonate deeply.

Our founder, Miriam Hogans, started this journey after a mission trip to Brazil, where she found herself surrounded by the kind of honest, powerful moments that can’t be staged. Those experiences in Manaus and Coari shaped the heart of what Humankind is today.

Part of our mission is to grow a creative space in Texas through events, where up-and-coming Christian filmmakers, who do not have a platform, can boldly share their stories and faith in Jesus.

If you’re looking for a team that truly gets it, book your next photography session or creative project with us. Let’s create something real.

Miriam is a creative by nature and photographer based in Austin Texas who enjoys capturing authentic and sacred moments of all humanity/mankind from different backgrounds and upbringings. Miriam is dedicated to capturing unfiltered emotions & desires to convey storytelling, one image at a time.
